We demand Immediate Freedom for our Co-worker Daniel Ruiz

In the last hours, our co-worker Daniel Ruiz was arrested. He is a well-known oil union leader in Chubut, member of the PSTU leadership and the International Workers League.
By  PSTU-Argentina
This outrage is part of the persecution we are suffering as an organization due to the legal cause set up against Sebastian Romero, politically persecuted by this government for defending the retired on December 18. Once again, the National Government persecuted and arrested those who struggle alongside the workers and the people. Today (yesterday) our co-worker accompanied the heroic struggle of the workers of the Rio Santiago Shipyard, who were mobilizing and pushing actions against Macri and Vidal’s cuts.
This justice for employers just extradited Jones Huala, it refuses to show us the files on the cause on Sebastian, it refuses to exempt him from prison, it ordered a search warrant in our co-worker Demián Romero’s house in Neuquen, and it entered and intimidated the Germán Tonero family in Rosario, and today (yesterday), it arrested Ruiz. They searched his home and from that time, they arrested him and left him uncommunicated in the Threats and Public Intimidation Division in the Federal Capital.
We request that all social and labor organizations, political parties and human rights bodies denounce this fact and take a standing for immediate freedom for Daniel Ruiz and in solidarity with our organization. And to join us tomorrow (today) Thursday the 13th at 8a.m. to the Courts of Comodoro Py, where Daniel will be questioned. We also invite the organizations to participate in a Press Conference that the CADEP (Anti-repression Coordination for the Rights of the People), the PSTU and other organizations are summoning at 2 p.m. in the Argentinean League for Man’s Rights, Avenida Corrientes 1785 2° C, CABA.
