Old Swan Against the Cuts unanimously passed a resolution tonight in support of the struggles and strikes of workers and social movements against FIFA & the multi-nationals using public monies for the purpose of making millions from a World Cup, to line the pockets of the greedy, the corrupt and the violators of human rights. While people are being evicted and criminalised for protesting.
We are with the people of Brazil & their right to proper housing, health, education & transport. And to the striking metro workers of São Paulo: “OSAC send solidarity greetings & full support to the São Paulo metro workers – Right to Strike – stop state terror against workers.”
