Workers and people of Egypt
We have been watching with pride your struggle to put down Mubarak’s dictatorship, a puppet regime of the U.S. imperialism and the Zionist state of Israel.
In the past weeks, your struggle is being followed from all around the world by workers and people who identify themselves with your struggle, against the oppression by a government of murderers, torturers and corrupts who serve the interests of the international big business.
Yesterday, despite all the anticipation on the resignation of the hatred dictator, he refused to leave again. The path you have followed is the path to victory. Do not empty Tahrir Square. Stay in the square and, at the same time, expand the workers strikes. This is the way to guarantee victory, put Mubarak down and arrest and punish all torturers and murderers who were in power these recent decades.
You’re close to victory, but Imperialism wants to minimize your victory. They pressure Mubarak to resign, but in order to guarantee that his regime continues. The US is trying to build a government by joining together some persons who, during all those years, were side by side with Mubarak, the butcher of the Egyptian people.
You need to keep mobilization to ensure the downfall and imprisonment of the dictator and his collaborators, as well as to achieve full democratic liberties, the release of all political prisoners, freedom for trade union association and political organization.
We support you. Today, with several other organizations, at 5pm (Brazilian time) in São Paulo, Brazil, we will meet in a demonstration of solidarity to your struggle.
