Militant Paraguayan Labor Federation CCT Issued a statement denouncing Paraguayan authorities for the secret agreement with Brazilian administration about bi-national Itaipu dam.

The secret agreement would make electricity bills 40% higher for Paraguayan people.
The main beneficiary would be a Brazilian energy company whose owner is a member of Brazilian President Bolsonaro’s party.
CCT demands the parliament to start impeachment procedure against President Mario Abdo Benitez.
CCT also criticizes labor organizations which stood by the president amidst this huge political crisis in Paraguay.
