The popular insurrection process exploding in the country is a product of the spontaneous effort of the masses, always willing to provide exemplary lessons of heroism and valuable acts of faith. But, not minimizing the importance of it (far from our intention,) spontaneity and voluntarism per se do not always lead to victory. To move forward, we need to make a leap from spontaneous to conscious actions. From this comes the necessity of giving a meaning and program to this struggle, a task that can only be embraced if we articulate nationally and chose a revolutionary, consequent leadership that goes all the way to the end. The National Strugglers’ Meeting against Continuity will take place on December 28, and it is an opportunity to move towards this goal.
