Sudan: CSP-Conlutas Solidarity Motion

Justice for Sudan

Once again thank you very much. The statement was translated and published in the SPA FB page – there is positive gratitude to your statement by the public and Trade Unions. Sudanese Doctors Union

Full support to the Sudanese revolution

We are aware that the new Sudanese uprising started on December 18 and spread rapidly to every state and many cities in Sudan.

We also realise that the uprising started because of the destruction of Sudan by the 30-year-old dictatorship of Omar Al-Bashir. The banks, economy and many parts of Sudan do not function as they should to provide the necessities for life and development.

And we understand that the dictatorship carried out a genocide in Darfur with heavy repression in Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile, and Kordofan since at least 2003. He is wanted by the International Criminal Court since 2009 but the international community led by the USA and EU do nothing. Al-Bashir travels freely.

And we understand the struggle today is against 30 years of dictatorship not only over high inflation, the lack of bread and recent violence.

We salute the courage of the youth, women, workers and trade unions and all the organisations of the uprising and revolution.

We condemn the use of arms, detention, torture and killing to try to stop your revolution for peace and justice and the right to organise and to save Sudan, so fertile and rich in resources.

We think Sudan belong to the Sudanese and not the international companies and countries that take what they can from your country such as gold, Uranium, and oil. All the resources belong to the peoples of Sudan, not the USA, the EU, Russia or China, etc.

We support your fight to end this despicable government and greet your energy, demonstrations, and strikes like on March 5.

-Free all prisoners of the uprising

-For the right to fight and make a revolution

-No arms, trade or aid to the dictatorship

-Al-Bashir to the International Criminal Court

-Down with Omar Al-Bashir and the regime

Signed by 60 Brazilian unions and social movements
