Let’s demand the SMATA to call for meetings and strike to defeat suspensions!

The situatio of the auto-industry workers is alarming. Hundreds of layoffs and several laws in their benefit annuling national taxes were not enough for the multinationals of the auto-industry: they now take advantage of this moment in which businessmen and Macri’s government are attacking workers and leaving thousands of them out of a job. GM suspended 350 workers and VolskWagen suspended 600. We cannot allow that. Not only we are under the risk of being suspended as beyond each suspension there is a risk of being fired. It can affect anyone of us; none of us is safe.
We cannot let them decide our future and our families’. We have to hit all together to avoid any suspension! NO ONE LEFT BEHIND!
We must demand to the body of delegates and the SMATA to unify the demand guaranteeing buses to the demonstration of the CGT-CTA of March 7 in Buenos Aires so we can take our demand to all workers in the country.
NO SUSPENSIONS!

The undersigned express our solidarity with the GM workers’ demand on they rejection to the agreement betwee the General Motors Company and the SMATA, which leaves 350 families on the streets.
We demand the immediate annulment of the illegal agreement, and the immediate re-incorporation of all suspended workers.
