This issue has been also published in English, in addition to the traditional Spanish and Portuguese versions.<br \/>\nThe opening article analyzes the reasons behind the electoral result on the base of the central socio-economic and political processes of last years and approaches the debate with most part of the left-wing that considers it as a result of a \u201creactionary turn\u201d around the world, that will now deepen. Other articles make a balance of Obama\u2019s terms and analyze the deep reasons of the imperialist policy we call \u201cdemocratic reaction\u201d.<br \/>\nThere are also articles of the Marxist British economist Michael Roberts on the economic situation of the country and the deep contradictions of Trump\u2019s proposals during the electoral campaign.<br \/>\nThere is a section of the magazine dedicated to analyze the situation of several segments of the mass movement (labor movement, Latinos, Black and women), their struggles\u2019 perspectives and some proposals to encourage these struggles.<br \/>\nLastly, we include an opinion article on the structural causes of the phenomena we have called \u201cimperialist nationalism\u201d, politically growing in Europe and the U.S.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The issue 16 of the International Courier magazine has been launched, dedicated to the situation in the U.S. after the election of Donald Trump as president of the country.
