CSP-Conlutas and other affiliated entities signing this motion express our total support and unconditional solidarity to Paraguayan workers, and to members of CCT (Working Class Federation), currently preparing a general strike for December 21st and 22nd.<\/p>\n

Austerity plan implemented here in Brazil was also being implemented in Paraguay. To respond to economical crisis, which capitalists are responsible of, governments like Dilma Rousseff in Brazil, and Horacio Cartes in Paraguay, are making workers carry the burden of this crisis upon our shoulders. They attack our rights and cut wage off social services, like health and education.<\/p>\n

As if this was not enough, in Paraguay, like here in Brazil, and several other countries, there is a policy of criminalization of struggles and social activists. Capitalists and governments use any anti-union practices to stop workers\u2019 struggles against the attacks, like legal actions against unions, unionists and activists.<\/p>\n

This is why international solidarity among workers is vital. In this regard, we hope for this general strike being organized to be victorius and get to impose a defeat to the government of Paraguay.<\/p>\n

This is also our struggle! We are shoulder to shoulder with you, comrades!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stop austerity plan and criminalization of struggles and activists!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will not pay for this crisis!<\/strong><\/p>\n
