The number of murdered women doubled in January and February in Sao Paulo State alone.
\nThe \u201cAtlas of Violence\u201d, an official yearly survey on violence in Brazil, went into public this month.
\nFor 2017, it shows that 13 women were murdered per day in Brazil, totaling nearly 5,000.
\nSixty-six percent of them were Black women what exposes the interconnection between racism and sexist violence.
