After over 40 years of Somoza\u2019s dictatorship, the people could celebrate in the streets the freedom conquered by the popular insurrection led by the Sandinista Front of National Liberation (FSLN).<\/em><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>By Bernardo Cerdeira.<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe Sandinista leaders were considered an example of revolutionaries by the left worldwide. However, after another 40 years, the new generations are in the streets once again. This time, to fight against the FSLN and Daniel Ortega, who always led the FSLN governments.<br \/>\nThe so-called \u201cBolivarian left\u201d tries to defend Ortega\u2019s government saying that the demonstrations are encouraged by imperialism and the right wing to defeat an alleged \u201cprogressive\u201d government. However, the students and people in the streets are not organized in, nor defend right-wing parties. They slogans are against the FSLN dictatorship and for \u201cOut with Ortega\u201d.<br \/>\nThe 76 dead [at the date, over 170] in hands of the police and paramilitary Sandinista groups are a huge bloody stain of this government. Together with the brutal repression and hundreds of injured and imprisoned, they are a living proof of the dictatorship that the \u201cleft\u201d denies.<br \/>\nHow did such transformation take place?
