The Movement Women in Struggle, a Brazilian working class women’s organization, posted a motion in solidarity with Palestinian women.
By CSP-Conlutas Media Workgroup
The motion reads:
“The Movement Women in Struggle stands in solidarity with Palestinian women who took the streets across ocupied Palestine on September 26 against gender violence and for freedom to all Palestinian political prisoners.
They held these demonstrations due to a reality of domestic violence that Palestinian women faces combined with living under colonial occupation by the State of Israel.
They demand legislation to protect women rights.
In Brazil we also face the alarming situation of violence against women shown by the statistics of one agression against women every four minutes.
Under the same struggle, we stand in solidarity with our Palestinian sisters.
– For the Palestinian Women, Free and Alive!
– From the River to the Sea, Palestine Shall Be Free!”
