The Brazilian Labor and People’s Federation CSP-Conlutas held its 4th National Congress on October 3-6, 2019 in Vinhedo city near Sao Paulo.

The congress was attended by 1835 elected delegates and observers across the country.
Their main decision is to fight back far-right president Jair Bolsonaro administration resorting to Unity in Action with other organizations.
Delegates from 15 countries attended the Congress and there were presentations about five countries.
Comrade Shahin Shahin from Palestine addressed the struggle against occupation, the situation in Al Quds and the right of return.
Big flags of Palestine and Syrian Revolution were opened to send a message of solidarity to both the Palestinian and Syrian people.
Comrade Abdul Mukhtar from Sudan talked about the people’s revolution in his country.
Comrade Nara Cladera from French Labor Federation Solidaires addressed the struggle of the yellow vests.
Comrade Nathan Leung talked about the uprising in Hong Kong.
Argentinian member of parliament Angelica Laguna and Mario Nicolas Vilarreal, who is the lawyer of Argentinian political prisoner Daniel Ruiz addressed the struggles in Argentina and the international campaign to set Daniel Ruiz and other political prisoners free.
The one-year-old campaign has just achieved the provisional freedom for Daniel Ruiz today!
Motions in solidarity to the people in Kashmir and Egypt were passed by the delegates.
International Solidarity
The International Labor Network held a meeting on October 7, 2019 at Vinhedo city with representatives from 14 countries.
The meeting was coordinated by Herbert Claros from CSP-Conlutas and Sandra Iriarte from CGT, a Labor Federation from the Spanish State.
A manifesto greeting workers’ resistance across the world was passed unanimously together with a motion against the bourgeois State backlash against workers’ struggles.
The current uprising in Ecuador against austerity policies was addressed through videos and a presentation.
Videos about Palestinian resistance in Al Khalil and Argentinian political prisoner Daniel Ruiz were also shown.
The next meeting of the InternationLabor Network will be held in Dijon city in France on June 4-7, 2020.
