The Executive Secretariat of CSP-Conlutas, reunited last Friday (16), has approved a note with its political stance for the national situation and the participation in the actions of 22/09 and 29th of September as a National Stoppage Day against the Pension and Labor Reforms, towards the General Strike.

Everybody to the streets towards the General Strike!
Against the Pension and Labor Reforms;
Against the PL 257, the PEC 241 and the PL 4567;
Out with Temer and all the corrupt and reactionaries of the National Congress!
We face a new moment of the national situation and the class struggle, after Dilma’s impeachment. This scenario has opened and is already making real the possibility of united actions in struggle against the reforms and for the “Out with Temer”. The new situation is crossed by important struggles and strikes, such as the ones of the bank employees, postal workers and oil workers. On our part, we shall keep on having initiatives and being part of these actions, bringing up also the struggle for “Out will all the corrupts and reactionaries of the National Congress”, and trying to channel this entire process towards the construction of a General Strike.
Within the frame of the victories we had with the national journey, from September 12 to September 15, with the public workers at the front, along with a series of other sectors of our class – thanks to the organization of our Central and its affiliated entities -, there has been a strong demonstration which had as its axis the struggle against the PL 257 and the PEC 241, and which also strongly incorporated the “Out with Temer”, but still did not allow the organizations tied to the PT to transform into a demonstration in service of the Popular Brazil Front.
Our task, now, is to be a part of the actions of 22/09 and to intensify the construction of 29/09 as a National Stoppage Day against the Pension and Labor Reforms, towards the General Strike. Supported by the summons of the metalworkers – national stoppage against the Pension and Labor Reforms – we seek to approve, in every entity and sector in which we are present, the adherence and effective participation in the stoppage of 29/09.
In these actions we will order our line mainly to serve the construction of the General Strike, adopting slogans focused on: Against the Pension and Labor Reforms; Against the PL 257, the PEC 241 and the PL 4567; Out with Temer and all of the corrupts and reactionaries of Congress!
Based on the demonstrations summoned for the 22nd of September, on the very important summons towards a Metalworkers National Stoppage on the 29th of September and on the deliberations of the National Gathering of the Public Worker Entities, we reiterate our call to all Trade Union Centrals and other organizations of the popular and student movement towards the constructions of a national unitary action towards the General Strike, and point the month of October as an indicative for it. We shall, thus, keep trying to organize together with all groups for its actual realization.
Our disposition for this construction will be oriented towards the widest unity of action possible, absolute autonomy to defend and express of our political line and independence from the bourgeois blocks led by the PSDB, PT and PMDB. If this is assured we can even be a part of other demonstrations and struggles such as, for example, the one which will happen on the next 18/09 in São Paulo. On the other hand, with the same criterion, we shall not be a part of demonstrations called “against the coup” or in defense Lula, which directly implies his strategy for participating in the 2018 elections.
